Just to touch real quick on this, I have tried to find evidence of this taking place in the Bible, and have failed to do so. I have read of stories about this and most to almost all wounds recorded were found to be self inflicted.
The first case to have been recorded was Saint Francis of Assisi in 1224. As of 1894, 321 cases had been recorded. Probably more since then but could not find any more info on the subject and it’s history.
I do know that some view this not as a biblical situation but rather a demonic one. Some believe that when you have been possessed that a demon has been known to cause Stigmata for one of these two reasons. One to fool the surrounding people into believe that the entity inside the person is not that of a demon but that of a heavenly being. Or reason two, it is the demons way of mocking your beliefs.
I have not seen anything like this, no real pictures that I know of, so only one can assume that stigmata does not exist. Those who do believe that is does and that it is a religious thing not demonic, believe that it is the first step to saint hood? My self though? I would impose the question of why would God would want you to go though that?

I have yet to find where the Bible has said this person was white or that this person is black. However there are a few people that we can assume color about, this can be assumed because of the name origin or origin all together.
One example would be Moses wife Zipporah who was said to have been a Cushite. Cush
Is an old name for a certain part of Africa.
Numbers 12:1
12 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite.
Matter of fact some scholars believe that the darker skinned people derived from Noah’s son Ham. Whether or not this is true I guess is impossible to know since the Bible does not talk directly about the race of it’s characters. But one has to assume that the biggest reason for the lack of stories involving Black and white people in the Bible is because a vast majority of it is based in or around Israel.

I know this may sound silly but I have read a few things as the where movies like Harry Potter is a sin. I know right. This is harmless in my mind, and have even contemplated magic spells and such my self over the years.
Deuteronomy 18:10-13
10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter ina the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the Lord your God.
Now I have not read of many witches in the Bible, so to me this could have been another governed agency add in. I say this because I have read things about demonic possession and such things as the devils powers. I can see that his powers are very limited. And in fact in most cases can not harm you at all but use the power of suggestion to make you hurt your self, such as fear.
I don’t really believe in Witches and warlocks. I do some what believe in old magic which rely on herbs and such to cause certain effects with-in a controlled situation. I can neither say yes or no to this question, because the answer is way two direct, and does not fit they way most of the Bible reads.
You have the passage, maybe you should ask your self the question and come with your own answer. But as far as the series Harry Potter. How could this be a sin to watch this? It’s only a movie and is in no way suggestive. We all know even children know that the things that accrue in this movie are fiction.
Matter of fact I like the movie and watch it often. I think it shows how vast the human mind really is. It show’s a path into the fantasy’s of our own selves. I know I have found my self wishing a time or two that I had some kind of power, even if it were just power over rain. I would however never attempt to assume that I do. Nor take this movie as a sign that God does not have this power.

Ok so this is where I tell you that the Bible reads there are little green men running around in space right? No sir. There are many ways to read yes to this answer. But none of them have been conclusive enough in my mind to say yes to this answer.
However there is one passage that I thought could be a UFO? It is during the travel of Moses and his people to the promise land.
Exodus 13:17-22
21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
Now again I remind you that I am no scholar, or a person educated in reading the Bible. But to me this could be a UFO? I mean it carried some modern day characteristics, right? It hovers, it glows red, and it’s big enough to provide shade for all the people that traveled.
I can almost see this object in my mind. But that vision fades, and fast. With the vast amount of things that God has created, would you think it impossible for there to be another planet out there that has beings on it?
Our scientist have sent robotic things to all planets “in our” solar system except for Pluto. But if you get down to the nitty gritty, what do the scientist really know? I mean for how long have they been saying that Pluto was a planet and now they say it’s only a star?
Maybe they did find life on Pluto and to throw us off the trail, insist that it’s not even a planet. Which in my mind would matter. Planet, star makes no difference it could still sustain life. Human life maybe not, but we have never met an Alien so how do we know it couldn’t sustain “ANY” life at all.
Just as a fun fact. Most people would consider a living creature to be much like them selves.
How ever take insects for an example. They breath but have no lungs. In the same since as they have a heart ( or a muscular tube that contacts from one end to the other ) but have no blood they have what is known as ”hemolymph“. .
So this would argue that the same standards should not apply when thinking about aliens. They may be out there and in my opinion are, but if you are looking for little green men or an organism that operates just as we do you wouldn’t know one even if you seen it.

So it’s on to another question that I have. Dinosaurs, and I mind you that I am not necessarily putting these in order to importance to me. Scientist would have you believe that we were created or evolved after the dinosaur error. And lets face it there are only 13% that have a Christian base belief. So it could be seen as they only want to prove this is false to disprove our religion and faith.
I have not found that much on this because many still debate this question. But I do know of one passage that speaks of a great creature. That Passage is Job 40:15-25 “15 Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! 17 His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. 18 His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron. 19 He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword. 20 The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. 21 Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. 22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him. 23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth. 24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes,or trap him and pierce his nose?
One thing that I can say I bring away from this message is that this is a creature that we either have not found or has fallen and we have only found it’s remains. When reading the Bible, you must always assume that it is written in metaphorical terms and you have to read between the lines. I will allow you to have you opinions, but mine would be that this is a dinosaur of some kind.
This world is filled with so many great creatures that my mind swims in the thoughts that this could not have been all that was created. We as humans have had a huge impact on what is here today and what is not. We have taken their homes and replaced them with our own. We have taken their food and replaced the fields with sea’s of parking lots and lighted highways.
We have taken what was not ours for a very long time. All through out history we have been blind to any long term effect that our action have or will have. Maybe they roamed as birds flock, Or grazed as cattle do? I would say that it is not that impossible to believe and we already know for a fact that they were here.

This is another touchy subject. But I will boldly try and find an answer for this……………. I could not find anything that say’s that marriage in same sex partnerships is wrong. But I did find where it say’s the action in it’s self is a sin and should not be done at all.
Leviticus 18:22
22 “ ‘Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable
1st Corinthians 6:9
9 “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders”
Now as I read this I understand that it is wrong. But I want to note that I do not agree with some of the things that are being done to these couples. I am a free religion person. That is to say that I believe that your sins will not be considered when I am judged. It is not up to me to judge you. And so I will not.
As far as the law’s are concerned when it come to the argument against the marriages. I think it is funny how in the long road of law making. Politics does not evolve around the Bible and it’s words. But in this situation the Bible is usually their source of arguments. You can’t half way follow, you either do or don’t.

Romans 13:1-2
13 “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves”
I started this one off with a passage because I feel that this in some way could have been one of those that the government added to. I believe this for two reasons. Reason one is that we already know that the government has censored the Bible for us to read, through their so called scholars. And secondly because we know the God in this book is a jealous God. Why would he put an governed agency above him self?
With saying this I will conclude that as long as the marriage ceremony in the Bible is involved then it is legal within Gods eyes. I refuse to believe that God would hand any kind of power over to any governed agency. He and only he is law!

Sometimes I wonder if relations in the bed room should be only when you are aiming to bare a child. How often is too often, is it a sin to want more? I’m only going to touch on this quickly because once I searched for and answer the one I found could not be any more clear than it was.
1st Corinthians 7:4
“4 The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.”
Also
1st Corinthians 7:5
5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
To me this was a very simple answer. I read this as to say that there is no too much or too less, a wrong way or right way only that your bodies belong to each other. But at the same time it is not so much the other persons that he/she can take it without consent. And that you should pray first so as to keep relations pure.

It is important to remember that divorce has been around since the day’s of Moses. Moses proposed that papers could be drawn up and you could send your wife away. I can’t think of one person that I have ever met that was married to ever say me and my wife/husband has never had any problems.
Most believe that God has nothing to do with it and feel like they should be able to leave simply because it is mans law and they are unhappy. It is not the judge or your wife/husband you will have to answer to when it is all over and done with.
Matthew 16:7-9 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
By reading this I can understand that there is only one reason that you should divorce your spouse and that is through an unfaithful act. Using what everyone already knows about the Bible and his words, we should always be forgiving. But if for some reason you find your self unable to live with the actions, you are allowed to do so.
I have been married for 10 years and the first part of that was ruff beyond belief, partly due to me and partly due to my wife. We both were young and demanded to be in the lead. We had to learn that there can not be one boss in the house but there had to be an equal partnership that had to be completely equal.
I personally had to learn that even though we have come together as one, we were two different people. I had to learn that it was not all about me but it was about “us”. I had to learn that listening was more than a verb, it was something that is necessary for equal communication. Not listening is like talking to your self. You can jibber all day but there will never be a clear answer to your question.
We as humans have developed a need to be number one, top dog. We have become accustom to getting what we want while we are single with no responsibility. We have to over come the feeling of omega, and take our place as only a piece of a bigger puzzle. While you can solve that puzzle with just a few pieces it’s harder and will take you longer to complete.

Ok first off being a proud father and husband of an interracial family. I was always told that this is a sin and will be my undoing. This is something that can not be forgiven and I have condemned my children to hell just by being in love and having children with a black American woman. I for one would argue that I did not choose who I fell in love with but rather God put my heart in her hands.
Now I have heard of a tale in the bible where as it say’s that you should not take marriage into another tribe. Ok so we should look at the word TRIBE. The definition or the top of the list definition would be…
“social division of people: a society or division of a society whose members have ancestry, customs, beliefs, and leadership in common” (Source, World English Dictionary © ). Ok so by definition we are all living in sin and are bound in a “out of tribe” relationship.
We all have in some way have common beliefs, and leaders. So let move on to some readable Bible Proof shall we?
James 2:1-10 “My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
5 Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6 But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong?
8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”a you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it”
Ok so if this is an example of favoritism I still don’t see the relevance when it comes to race. It only speaks of treating Rich and poor alike. (WE ALL KNOW THAT DON’T HAPPEN)
Ok moving on…
2 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” This to me is a little closer but it is still not talking about race, only to the fact that you should share religion.
OK we now know that you should not be bias when it comes to material wealth, and that you should not marry another of a different religion. But I was unable to find a passage saying that it is wrong for a person of a different color, or race to join hands in marriage with another. Some may say this is a sin because they personally have an issue with it.
I dare say it is a sin but I agree that certain problems will arise from this situation, but I also feel when your heart calls you to a person you can not let that call fall on deaf ears. You should always trust your heart when in this situation. Know that God only wants you to be with this person, and follow through with great passion.
